One Month Up North

I have been in Canada for almost a month now.

During this month, I have enjoyed being with my husband all the time.
He works mostly from home, which I love.

I have been looking for work.

I have been exercising.

I have been in a really good mood.

I have been enjoying the great North American breakfasts, my favorite.

I have been making myself the best lattes, thanks to my husband's amazing coffee machine.

I have been ice skating on the Rideau Canal in Ottawa.

I have been sharing brown sugar & cinnamon BeaverTails with my husband. Do any of you non-Canadians know about BeaverTails?

I have been following my husband pretty much everywhere, even in military regiments to listen to him give smart speeches.

I have been building stuff. Yes. Me, don't act so surprised. Okay, you can. I was.

I have been enjoying my husband's delicious Asian cooking.

I have been baking for Valentine's Day.

I have been trying to stay positive, and believe that there is a plan for us, even when it feels like we are facing more and more obstacles every day.

I've never ad a beaver tail and I'm Canadian! I put shame to the name. And I love the last post you made...I just found out today, after finally getting 2 jobs, that the French government makes employers pay 1000 EURO, explain why they cannot hire a French, and wait 4 months if they want to hire a foreigner (which no one is willing to do)...I honestly can't give up on my goal though.

MMMMMM Beaver tails!!! I'm DROOLING! They don't have them out west here, and its been forever since I've had one! They are the most delicious thing ever. I could eat them everyday, get fat and I wouldn't care!
