Transatlantic Travel in Numbers


32... hours for the complete trip
516... seats on the plane
7... hours in the air
3... bottles of Evian I drank
3... pieces of luggage
2... Longchamp carry-ons
67... kilograms of checked-in luggage
2... seats for myself
2,5... fabulous in-flight meals (the 0,5 are the countless snacks they kept offering)
3... movies I watched
30... seconds to go through immigration control in Paris with the new fingerprint system
10... minutes to get my visa in Canada
1... massive hug from my husband at the arrival gate
