Our Transatlantic Life Lately

My dad and I in Quebec City - Please excuse the no makeup face and the fur overkill. It was very early on the day of our flight back to Paris, and very cold.

It's been ages since I've written here. I have no excuse. I was incredibly busy, but you can always make time to write a post. I've missed writing!

A few things have happened since my last post.

I flew to Ottawa to be with my husband for a really big week.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary. 

My husband did his thesis defense presentation.

It was a big deal.

And everybody thought he was really really good. 

I am married to an almost doctor, and pretty darn proud of him.

We had fun in Quebec City with my dad who flew in for the presentation.

And the three of us flew back to Paris. 

I am now officially on vacation, and that's very nice. 

I have time to make Christmas cookies, buy presents for my stepdaughters, and see the exhibits I've been wanting to see for months before they're all over.

Oh, and plan a little trip to Prague after Christmas. We couldn't help it, we had to go somewhere.
