Some things do not change...
I am in Paris.
Husband is in Canada.
But he is coming to France in September!
We are both very stressed out right now and our situation is far from ideal, so these few days together will do us a world of good and hopefully lift our spirits. Scratch that. It will.
It is weird to think that he is coming as a tourist in a city, in a country he lived in for two years.
He had an apartment in Paris. He got married in Paris.
He has family in Paris.
A wife.
A French residency card.
But he is a tourist now.
And since my husband is a tourist, I want to do all kind of touristy things and take a vacation in my own city. What's more romantic than a few days in the City of Lights with my beloved husband ?
Museums (we love our museums), wine, strolls in the Luxembourg garden, reading in cafés and nights out in Le Marais. And maybe even an escape or two from the city.

So lovely! And what a great city to share with your mister :)
Quel billet touchant! Je te souhaite que le temps passe rapidement afin que tu puisses retrouver ton mari chéri :)
If there's any city to be a tourist in, it's Paris. Hope you two have a wonderfully romantic time together! :)
Long distance is so hard - you sound like a champ, though! And France... jealous.
